She was born in Giresun in 1960. She completed her elementary, middle and high school education in various cities of Anatolia and Istanbul as the eldest daughter of a family working for the government. She graduated from Anadolu University Associate Degree Program in Public Relations in 2009; and from Anadolu University Undergraduate Program in Business Administration in 2011.
Her interest for Turkish Handicrafts started in her childhood. She started to crochet when she was 9 years old. She took her compliance certificates by attending the English Lacework and Antep Handicraft Class at the Ministry of Education School of Art for Girls, and Wood Painting Class at the Public Education Center between 1995 and 2003.
Sevda Çelik, who believes that life is a great favor granted to a person, perpetuates the combat of life that falls to her share with ambition, belief, modesty and faith with a consciousness of the continuity of learning; is settled in Karadeniz Ereğli/Turkey; is married and has two children.
